Table Rock State Park allows you to launch your boat onto the lake. There are no fees, and all of the surfaces are concrete or asphalt. There is a boat ramp located near the open picnic shelter and park office. There are Missouri State Water Patrol regulations that watercraft riders and boaters must follow.
The clarity of the water makes Table Rock Lake a popular place for scuba diving. Diving equipment can be rented or purchased at the marina and beginning and advanced scuba courses are offered.
Regularly scheduled evening programs are held at the amphitheater Memorial Day through Labor Day. A seasonal naturalist provides programs concerning plants, animals, eco-systems and nature hikes. Check the park bulletin boards or contact the park naturalist for detailed information at 417-334-4704. Also contact a park naturalist to arrange special group programs or to use any of the natural resource sites. Group programs should be scheduled at least three weeks in advance, although shorter notice may be possible depending on staffing and other scheduled programs.
There is an open picnic shelter, perfect for family reunions and get-togethers, which can be reserved for $50 by contacting the park office at 417-334-4704. It is located across from the park office and can occupy up to 100 persons.
Picnic areas include tables, outdoor grills as well as restroom facilities and new playground equipment located nearby. Some facilities are offered on a seasonal basis only. There is no charge and individual picnic sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Water enthusiasts can enjoy the clear waters of the Table Rock Lake for swimming and other water activities. There is no designated swimming beach; however, several shoreline areas offer ample swimming opportunities. Swimming is not allowed near the marina or boat launch areas. Restroom facilities are available near the picnic area.
